Meet the City of Torino

OK guys,let’s go to Torino,the capital of the World Figure Skating Championships 2010.

I’ll tell you about some places you shouldn’t miss while you are there.


Torino is the capital of Piemonte region,located in the far north-west of Italy. This big city is very famous for a different assortment of things:Baroque art,industry,football club Juventus,chocolate,Martini,Fiat,Alps and many others.Such a grandiose bouquet!

Torino doesn’t have the political importance since the Parliament of a united Italy moved to Rome. But this city is a one of the biggest and the most important industrial centre in Europe.

Despite the industry Torino keeps its own wonderful Baroque style buildings which are very gracious.


If you want to know what Torino’s people feel at the weekends,you should go to the Stadio Delle Alpi and watch the one of the most popular football club in the world Juventus F.C.It’s really fantastic spectacle! By the way,the football is the big part of Italian national culture.
