Alexei Yagudin continues to be in the image of his famous Gladiator. His personality is truly inspiring for many people in the world. This month he takes part in a nationwide project that promotes a healthy lifestyle. During this time he will be in a role of instructor in several cities of Russia where he will conduct mass physical trainings.

Especially noteworthy is the fact that to the training can come anyone and absolutely free. There is only one main condition – the desire to lead healthier lifestyle. Also, each will receive an illustrated guide with detailed description of all exercises and photos of the Olympic champion.

“There were a lot of talks about how to keep people’s striving for a healthy lifestyle, but in fact the situation has not changed. It’s so easy to start doing at least something for your health. Of course, sometimes it is hard to get up, but the morning exercises could be the first step towards making you feel fitter and healthier. Our set of physical exercises designed for everyone and it takes only 30-45 minutes. But, in my opinion, this is a big step towards health.” said Alexei.

Salt Lake City triumpher notes that this action is referred on rising of health of inhabitants of the country, and the project is socially significant, so he agreed to participate in it without any hesitation.

“I don’t remember too much from the time of Soviet Union, but one of the brightest illustrations of that age was that people were engaged in physical trainings and sports more actively. It was the tradition and it is a pity that it has left,” the Olympic champion told.

Alexei noted that his main goal of this project is to make physical exercises more popular among people.
