For many years, the Finnish national team of figure skating was represented by very good and strong skaters, showing a high quality performances combined with a true ladies style – Laura Lepisto, Kiira Korpi, Susanna Poykio. Unfortunately, these skaters couldn’t come at the last World Championships in Nice for various reasons.

Recently, Moldavian skaters from the Axel Skating Club, which is located in the city of Tiraspol, received another gift from the Skating Designs company – new wonderful outfits. People usually say that the joy of children is priceless, and it’s 100% true. The gifts from Skating Designs are also very worthy because figure skating in Moldova now is at the beginning of its development.

2012 World bronze medalist in pair skating Canadian Mervin Tran, who competes for Japan with Narumi Takahashi, is going to appeal to the Japan’s government to grant him the citizenship of that country so the pair could perform at the Olympic Games in Sochi, says The Mainichi Shimbun newspaper.
