Yu-Na Kim is not sure about participation at Sochi Olympics
2010 Vancouver Olympic champion Yu-Na Kim is not sure about participation at the 2014 Sochi Olympics. South Korean figure skating star look forward to hosting the event’s top athletes at the 2018 Olympic Games, which will be held in her country, reported China Daily.
Yu-Na Kim, who took part in her first ice show in China which was held in Shanghai last Sunday, said that it’s too early to talk about Sochi Olympics.
The current Olympic champion also said that she anticipated the chances to watch skating performances by top teams in Pyeongchang, at the 2018 Olympic Games.
“I hope everyone can fulfill their dreams in Pyeongchang,” said Kim, who promoted South Korean bid as an ambassador before Pyeongchang was named host city of the 2018 Olympics.
The 21-year-old is one of the most highly-recognizable athletes in South Korea, after becoming the first female skater to sweep gold medals at the Olympic Games, World Championships, Four Continents Championships and the Final of the Grand Prix series.
