Denis Ten performs short at 2013 Worlds

Denis Ten of Kazakhstan, who sensationally holds the second place at the 2013 World championships, said he feels just perfect after the confident performance showed yesterday in Canada’s London.

“The beginning of this season was not the most successful for me,” Ten said media. “I had so many problems with injuries. I had to tune in myself psychologically for the main start of the season. It was necessary to forget everything that happened before.“ he continued.

“I’m glad I was able to skate clean my short program, improving the personal best score and showing the best result of the season. I was just shocked to see that after my short program I was at first place! I’m really happy and I will try to keep that feeling until the end of the free program.” Ten noted.

Kazakh skater is ready for a serious fight in a free skating.

“I worked very hard and I feel that now I’m in the best shape. I have never been so strong and confident before! I need to do all that I can in a free skating and try not to think about the places and scores. I should just focus and enjoy the performance. I want the audience to look at my performance with happy eyes, like yesterday!” said Denis.
