French federation reacts on Joubert issue
French Federation of Ice Sports issued a press release in which presented its own vision on the issue of Brian Joubert withdrawal from the American stage of Grand Prix series.
Recall that this Monday it was announced that 2007 World Champion and a three-time European champion Brian Joubert will not take part at the 2013 Hilton HHonors Skate America, which will take place this week in Detroit, Michigan.
French newspaper L’Equipe gave a version where suggests that behind this decision is the officials of the French federation. We publish a response of the French Federation of Ice Sports without cuts (unedited version, as is).

“Contrary to the assertions by French paper L’Equipe, Brian Joubert is not the victim of any federal sanction.
It would be very curious to punish the most successful French skater of all times for viral reasons.
The skater from Poitiers has withdrawn from Skate America in Detroit and prefers to treat himself in order to resume his season as soon as possible in preparation for the Cup of Russia, held in Moscow from 22 to 24 November 2013.”
