Yuna Kim gets coaching certificate
Korea’s Yuna Kim, who completed competitive career last season, got the certificate that allows her to coach skaters at the national level.
Last weekend the famous skater took part in the two-day seminar on coaching in figure skating, which was held in Seoul and conducted by Korea Skating Union (KSU).
According to Chosun Ilbo news edition, after attending courses on the theory, technique and refereeing in figure skating and courses of sports medicine, the athlete got the qualification, allowing her to become a coach at the national level starting from the season 2014/15.
In February 2014, Yuna Kim competed in the ladies event at the 2014 Winter Olympic Games, where she won an Olympic silver medal. As anticipated, Kim announced that the Olympics would mark the end of her competitive skating career.
